Another great small project to begin quilting is table runners. They are small and quick to make and can give you a sense of satisfaction having completed them!
When learning a new block, I’ll tend to make a few before deciding whether I want to make a full quilt with the design. If a full quilt is not in the cards then I will combine all the practice blocks into a table runner.
Pillows
Found a lovely and easy heart pillow pattern which sews up quickly with straight line quilting. I used a ruler and hopping foot to create the straight lines.
